Since 2009, the Seine-Saint-Denis County Council has been backing “la Culture et l’Art au Collège (CAC)”. This project is based to a large extent on the presence in class for several weeks (40h) of an artist or scientist whose mission is to engage the students in a process of research and creation.

Objectives:
Internet is becoming a huge platform letting users link up all their digital equipment: telephone, computer, camera, television, etc. Does this offer new possibilities for design and information processing?

Workshop:
Web 2.0, technology for pleasure, leisure, creation and knowledge.

Interactive Internet: a virtual world to be built together. Some classes created stop motion animation, while others designed the content of a blog/ Wiki home page.

Using stop motion animation and meeting technical and graphic specifications, an interactive blog Home Page, on the principle of a wiki, shared by all classes, was put on line.

Outcome:
Animation of the blog during the second fortnight of June
